

Select the check boxes to the left of those code libraries that you want to include in the export and clear the check boxes to the left of those that you want to exclude.

Select the Export resource allocations check box to include consumable and permanent resource allocations in the export, or clear the check box to exclude them.Select the Export cost allocations check box to include cost allocations in the export, or clear the check box to exclude them.Select the Export sub-headings check box to convert subheadings into hidden tasks that have the name of the subheading bar in the resulting file, or clear the check box to exclude subheadings when exporting the project.Select the Export income as negative costs check box to convert any positive income into negative costs and any negative income into positive costs in the resulting file, or clear the check box to remove any income from the resulting file altogether.If a bar contains more than one task, the constraint flag is added to the first task on the bar only. You may want to do this in order to prevent Microsoft Project from automatically moving such tasks to the start date of the project. Select the Add constraint flags to tasks with no incoming links check box if you want to add a start constraint flag to tasks with no incoming links in the exported project.Click Next to access the following page.

Click the appropriate radio button to specify which parts of the project to export.The Export Scope page of the wizard appears. The introductory page of the Microsoft Project Export Wizard appears. Select Microsoft Project (*.mpp) in the Save as type field.Enter a new file name for the project if required.Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the project.Note that you can export more than one branch at the same time by CTRL-selecting them before right-clicking. To export the entire project, click the File tab, click Import/Export, then click Export to Microsoft Project to export only the current branch or view, right-click a chart or summary group in the project view and select Export branch or view to Microsoft Project.
